Although I’m sad to say good-bye to summer which is my very favorite season for so many reasons: I love the heat. Any heat. The hot wet sticky kind and the dry, crispy, scorching kind. My body and mind; muscles and emotions are so much more at ease in that milieu. Besides heat, I love wearing less clothing. I find it exhausting piling on sweaters, hats, gloves, boots, etc. I am tired before I get out the door!
But time is not standing still for any of us so I’m going with the flow, trying to ride the wave of the gusty autumn winds coming our way. It is hard for most of us to say good bye to things and people we love and feel so at home with but endings are part of life. Let us focus on the other side of that coin – beginnings – and be open to all the new, beautiful and inspirational things that will grace our lives. Things that would not appear if we did not say good-bye to summer. Hold those things/people/situation in your memory, in your heart, in your soul but allow new sensations and adventures to set you soaring again. I know you are hearing me people! See you in the skies!
