Me? Meditate? I Don’t Think so!

Meditation at reikiofgreaterboston, waltham

Most people come into my office for services because they are feeling ‘off’ in some way and know they can be better. A majority are stressed and anxious, have trouble sleeping, etc. but when I ask them if they’ve tried meditation this is how they look at me!

Meditation at reikiofgreaterboston, waltham
Me? Meditate? I Don’t Think So!

Meditation gets a bad rap in some circles with people believing that sitting still in lotus pose like a Buddha is a requirement. I used to think that too and being a fairly active person with a penchant for large muscle movement, this pose did not appeal to me either but this notion is quite far from the truth. There are many different and fun ways to meditate and still reap the benefits!

Meditation at reikiofgreaterboston waltham

Some of The Benefits of Meditation

  • Increases immune function
  • Decreases Pain
  • Decreases Inflammation at the Cellular Level
  • Increases HappinessDecreases Depression
  • Decreases Anxiety
  • Decreases Stress
  • Increases your sense of connection to others
  • Increases compassion
  • Decreases feelings of loneliness
  • Increases ability to control emotions
  • Increases grey matter (memory) and cortical thickness (attention span)
  • Improves productivity and creativity
  • Improves ability to sleep
  • Decreases need for sleep
  • Improves perspective
  • Improves ability to express your authentic self
  • Decreases drama in your life

Despite all these life improving benefits, people come up with excuses,  fears and reasons not to participate in meditation.

Some Common Reasons People Give for Why They ‘Can’t’ Meditate

  1. I can’t sit still
  2. I can’t clear my mindMeditation at reikiofgreaterboston waltham
  3. I don’t have time
  4. I don’t have a quiet place
  5. Quiet makes me anxious
  6. It’s boring

Addressing each of the above:

  1. There is no need to sit still to meditate. There are many meditation methods that involve movement/activity. Try Walking Meditation, Vinyasa (Flow)Yoga, Tea Ceremony Meditation, Chanting.
  2. Even master meditators have trouble clearing their minds sometimes. Having a clear mind is not a requirement for meditation. In fact I welcome the distracting thoughts because they give me an opportunity to practice placing my focus back on what I’m doing. Meditational focal points could be the breath, a mantra, a candle flame, etc. This is the practice – noticing the unclear mind and bringing your focus back to attention, over and over. Meditation is practice not perfection. (The practice of meditation is perfection though!)
  3. No time? Nonsense!

    Meditation at reikiofgreaterboston waltham
    NO Time? Nonsense!
  4. You don’t have to meditate for long periods to reap the rewards. To beginners I recommend 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes at night. 10 minutes a day. I know you have that available to you and if you cannot make that time for your sanity and improved quality of life then you are not quite ready to progress in this area of your life. At this time, there is something about being unsettled/unhealthy that is more compelling to you than grounded living. This is ok! We are all at different places in our journeys.  Clients who give the reason of no time for meditation seem to find meditating while lying down in bed just before sleep at night and/or before they get up in the morning an easy way to ease into it all.You may not be able to get a quiet place to meditate at home because you live with noisy people or people who demand your attention. Look elsewhere. Perhaps there is a place outside somewhere, in a park or your backyard that will offer more peace for you. Maybe at work there is a place you can go to at lunch break – an empty office? Eventually you will not need pure quiet to meditate. Being able to achieve calm among the noise is the ultimate goal so practicing with a bit of a ruckus can be beneficial.Meditation at reikiofgreaterboston waltham
  5. Uncomfortable with quiet? See #4.
  6. With so many meditation methods there is bound to be at least one that will pique and keep your interest!

I believe beneath these excuses is a fear of discovering deep truths. This fear is usually not conscious. It can be scary looking in the mirror of your mind but it is the only way to move beyond the crap on a more permanent basis.

Consistency is key. I find 5 minutes a day better than 30 minutes once a week. You may not notice the benefit immediately (but you may!), either way, if you continue, you will  notice how strong, grounded, calm, level-headed, compassionate, etc. you’ve become and you will need to go buy and wear a shirt that says, ‘SPIRITUAL WARRIOR!’

There are too many types of meditation to list here but here are:

Some of the More Popular Meditation Methods

  • Walking– Just walk and pay attention. Walk slow, walk fast, feel your feet. Notice.
  • Metta Meditation at reikiofgreaterboston walthamMetta (Loving Kindness)-I love this one because I get to send myself some love first! Use loving statements starting with yourself as recipient. 1. May I be/feel: “fill in the blank”: happy, loved, peaceful, etc. 2. Next think of some one you like or are thankful for use the same statement with them in mind: May they be “fill in the blank”. 3. Someone you feel neutral about. 4. Someone who pushes your buttons, disturbs your peace. 5. All beings/The Universe/The Earth.
  • Mantra– You can use traditional Mantras like ‘Sat Nam’ or I am Truth. I like “I am Light’ and here’s a beautiful song about that for you to enjoy and absorb. You can also make up your own Mantra that means something to you like: My heart is open and free or I am One with All.
  • Sound-Do this lying down or seated. Allow all sounds to enter your awareness and let them be.
  • Guided/Visualization-Use a meditation app like Head Space or Insight Timer. Candle Flame Meditation at reikiofgreaterboston walthamCandle Flame– Soften your gaze and focus on a candle flame. You may receive messages or see images as time passes. Bring your focus back to the flame over and over again as you notice your mind wandering.
  • Mindfulness-In short, become aware of each movement, sound, thought, etc. Watch all as the observer.
  • Chanting- Chant along with some traditional sanskrit prayers. Here’s an example. It’s ok if you mess up the words just feel it all and open your throat.
  • Breathwork-Simply watch your breath come in and out (without losing focus on the breath). It’s harder than it sounds. You can also find a breathing pattern that feels good to you. Square breathing, for example, is a basic breathing technique that is not too difficult to work with.
  • Journaling-Write anything! Your dreams, your thoughts, ideas, disturbances, things that you’re grateful for, goals, feelings. Have fun! Always have fun.Meditation at reikiofgreaterboston walthamEngaging in an activity that absorbs you: working on a puzzle, a math problem, dancing, singing any art form or creative practice. Merge and become one with the activity.

C’mon now! Pick one and just give it a try for me. For yourself! If you’d like a little bit of guidance book a private session with me (it’s the 8th option down on that link) and you’ll be on your way in no time.

World Mental Health Day; We’re All Crazy If You Ask Me

Mental Health Healing, Reiki of Greater Boston

I was remiss in not acknowledging World Mental Health Day this past Tuesday, October 10th especially since some of my favorite peeps are living with Mental Health issues!

World Mental Health Day, October 10, Reiki of Greater Boston
This day was established by the World Health Organization 25 years ago in order to promote awareness of this issue.

I’m not big on labels. I know I’m not suppose to use the word ‘crazy’ but I’m very close to this community if not part of it and they know I mean no disrespect. People are sometimes labeled ‘crazy’ or ‘Mentally Ill’ just because they don’t follow expectations of society. That is just pure nonsense!

Really, who’s to say who is Mentally Ill or Mentally Healthy? I was providing Reiki on a Locked Psychiatric Floor today. One of the patients said to me, “Oh you’re so beautiful but you need a better hairdresser to make you even more beautiful!” Ha ha! This statement would not be acceptable in the workplace but Does speaking the truth make you ill? If we all told and lived our truths a bit more, less of us would be unable to cope. I told her I would look into a new stylist and that her I loved her for the compliment and then gave her a big hug.

Another patient told me about some visions he was having of Jesus and energy exchanges and one other said he was my uncle Rob reincarnated. I don’t dismiss either of these statements quickly. Some of most brilliant, sensitive and highly evolved people in the world (and the next) believe and have experienced Jesus, energy visions and reincarnation memories. Yet these people I meet with are in the hospital needing care both medicinal and psychiatric because they are out of balance and their state of mind has too much control over their behaviors which are not able to be absorbed in the community. This imbalance does not allow them to be the best that they can be in this world and that is when intervention is needed.

Mental Health Healing, Reiki of Greater Boston

If you think you are immune to Mental Health Issues think again. Really. Think again. I was that person once upon a time. I thought there was a big division between ‘us and them’ and then- bam -just like that it hit me. Down, down, down the deep, dark rabbit hole I went. Even now if I am not fastidious about my spiritual practices  and vigilant about using only organic products I start sinking. The trick is to be hyper-aware of your feelings and state of mind so that any little imbalance or discomfort alerts you to take healing action whatever that may be for you. These healing modalities vary for each person. For some, medication is needed, others need more sleep, some meditation, an outing with friends, etc. The healing options are endless. Sometimes we are tempted to wait this imbalance/discomfort out thinking and hoping and praying that it will go away but if you have a chronic issue it is not likely to go away and delaying treatment is not a good idea. Don’t wait until you are in the depths of despair or at the height of a manic episode to reach for help.

People wait and are reluctant to discuss their experiences with Mental Illness because there is a stigma to it still in some circles. This is what comes to mind for some people when they hear someone is struggling with Mental Illnesses like OCD, anxiety, Bi-Polar, etc.

The reality of this image does exist but it is extreme. More often it is the face of me or you, of your mother, friend or spouse struggling in some way, still functioning but not optimally.

Everyday I work with clients who are struggling with Mental Health Issues. I salute them for knowing that they need to address the problems, for admitting that they need help, for being brave enough for reaching out and dragging themselves into my office week after week to work on themselves in order to be the best that they can be.

All the services I provide help people (including myself) work on becoming the best possible version of themselves. Yoga, Meditation, Life Coaching, Reiki, Crystal Healing, a combination of aforementioned plus education via reading and journaling are all a part of the health journey that I have found lifesaving.

Of course I am not claiming that these things alone will necessarily eradicate mental illness although it does happen. (See this movie documentary if you can: Heal to see just how powerful the mind and alternative health  methods are in improving our minds and bodies.) Some advanced and deeply rooted issues need medical and medicinal interventions but all these Alternative Health Services are a great support for the person suffering and will give them a chance to take some control in their own healing process. It is important that we not give control of our healing away to anyone. The patient knows, deep down – sometimes way deep down – what they need and certainly they should play a part in their own healing.

That is one major goal I have with all of my clients – to get them to touch their own inner knowledge, their higher knowledge, their intuition. Through all of these methods and practices we move closer to that higher power we all possess but have let go amidst the craziness and conditioning of the world.

According to the World Health Organization, NIMH and APA these are recent statistics on this issue:

  • 1 in 5 (or 43.8 million) adults experience mental illness in a given year.
  • 1 in 25 (or 10 million) adults experience a serious mental illness.
  • 1 in 100 (or 2.4 million) live with schizophrenia.
  • 2.6% (or 6.1 million) of Americans have bipolar disorder.
  • 6.9% (or 16 million) suffer from severe depression.
  • 18.1% (or 42 million) live with an anxiety disorder.

Mental Health is clearly a major issue which won’t be fixed quickly or easily but we can do our little part by making ourselves aware of the prevalence of Mental Illness and encouraging people suffering with it at whatever level to talk about it without shame, to reach out for help and to have hope for healing.

Christmas Means Love

Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, you likely believe in some higher power. Yes?  The essence of all higher power is Love and Love is the meaning of Christmas to me so that is why I say to all of you, Merry Christmas!  Exude Love today and everyday.

Christmas in Bethlehem. The ancient dream: a cold, clear night made brilliant by a glorious star, the smell of incense, shepherds and wise men falling to their knees in adoration of the sweet baby, the incarnation of perfect love.” –Lucinda Franks

Banish Holiday Stress In A Snap!

Holiday Stress Meter, Combat Stress at Reiki of Greater Boston, Waltham

Holiday Stress Meter, Combat Stress at Reiki of Greater Boston, WalthamIs Holiday stress creeping up on you? If so, know that you are not alone! Do you know what it is about the holiday season that makes you crazy? It might be helpful to identify the specific cause(s) because then you can more accurately target your nemesis. Is it the incessant playing of the same 10 Christmas Songs over and over beginning on Thanksgiving?  Is it the commercialization of what initially was a sacred day? Buy this, buy that and garish red and green decorations everywhere you look? Spoiled children and unaware adults thinking it’s all about receiving and therein missing the whole heart of  the holiday? Is it the fear that you will have no one to spend the holiday with or the antitheses of that, that you will be spending the holiday with too many people? Perhaps family, friends that you don’t have much in common with and/or who push your buttons? Worried about not having enough money to buy ‘good’ gifts? Argh & blah.

Take control I say. Here’s how.

#1.  Just Say No

Say no to stress at Reiki of Greater Boston, Waltham

Say ‘no’ to invitations you are not thrilled to accept. Yes, people will be pissed and think you are weird but it is your sanity at stake so it’s worth disappointing people. If you feel really badly about denying them your presence you can send a gift basket of some sort wishing them a glorious time at their party, etc.

Combat Holiday Stress with a Treat at Reiki of Greater Boston, Waltham#2.  Plan a Special Treat

Whether you’ll be spending the holiday alone or with others, make sure to have at least one thing planned for that day that you will look forward to. A massage? A sweet desert? A meeting with a friend? A bubble bath?

#3.  Take One Hour a Day

Combat Holiday Stress with Me Time at Reiki of Greater Boston, Waltham

Book some ‘me time’ each and every day during this stressful month. You must actually put it into your calendar and let nothing derail you from taking it. Plan to spend it doing something that brings you joy and/or calm. Some ideas: read, cook, draw/paint, make music, learn something new: a language, an instrument, woodworking, etc., walk, workout, see a movie. I could go on and on because the list is limited only by your imagination. Just one hour a day. Do it!

#4.  Be in Silence

Combat Holiday Stress with Silence at Reiki of Greater Boston, Waltham

I have in mind you sitting in meditation, chanting and reaching nirvana but I know that is a pipe dream.  My earthy, practical nature tells me something a bit less spiritual will have to do. Here it is: Turn off the TV, the phone, the radio, the computer! I know it is scary but it is amazing how healing this is. Try it for a couple of hours when you get home from work and see how it feels. Do this for at least a couple of days for the effects to kick in. Give your body & mind a break from constant bombardment of ‘noise’ most of which is negative.

#5.  Move

Combat Holiday Stress with Movement at Reiki of Greater Boston, Waltham

Not from your home. Move your body! Ideally work yourself up to the point of sweating to release toxins caused by stress. If you belong to a gym schedule at least one day/week to take a class or work out for an hour. If you don’t belong to a gym then take a walk, a bike ride, snow shoe, do an exercise class on your TV/computer. I like Cody. They offer paid programs but also some free classes too. Here’s their free schedule for this month.

Try 1 or all 5 of these stress busters and poof you’ll be good as new! For those wanting more ideas for calm you will find some here and for those of you living near me you can also grab a Reiki Session and/or attend our Sound Healing Meditation with Tibetan Bowls. And no matter what you’re doing, always breathe in deeply and exhale completely. Ahhh. Just doing that made me relax. Try it!

17 Ways To Invite Peace Into Your Home

How do you feel when you’re in your home environment? Reiki Clients come into my office for many reasons but one common denominator is stress reduction! We work together for an hour or 2 and they are feeling ‘blissed out’ when they leave. That feeling can last hours, days or longer but if you go home to a space that is toxic in some way you will not have a chance at maintaining that inner peace.

Collage from summer flowers and plants - the sweet green home concept isolated. Tomorrow flowers will wither

It’s not about how large or posh your living space is but how high the energy vibration is. I understand this term ‘energy vibration’ is elusive and vague to some of you but it is most definitely real. You clearly feel the difference in the office atmosphere when the boss walks in, and think about the feel of the beach air vs. basement atmosphere. You get the point. Our environment effects us in many ways and there are easy ways to transform your home space to support your quest for calm and peace. Here are some of my top suggestions that clients tell me have made a difference and that I personally have positive experience with.

1.  Open Windows

At least 10 minutes/day.

2.  De-Clutter

Clutter effects our brains and our overall health. Dust and mold collect on this clutter and more symbolically it mirrors your inner workings! You don’t have to clear the whole house (although that may be a nice long-term goal for you) but at least have a small area that is free of debris! If you are a pack-rat or hoarder come in for a Reiki series and we will use Malachite to facilitate clearing and letting go.

3.  Add Flowers/Plants peace_lily

Top choices for cleansing are: English Ivy, Peace Lily, Florists’ Chrysanthemum, Variegated Snake Plant. All of these absorb toxins but any plant or flower will soothe your eyes, heart and soul so choose your favorites!

4.  Add Art Work/Inspiration

Hang some things that inspire you or make you feel good. This can be in the form of quotes or images or something else more personal to you that reminds you of someone special and/or of the specialness of yourself.

5.  Burn Incense

Take your pick. Any one will do. My personal favorite is Sandalwood – Very earthy.

6.  Light Sage or Palo Santo

Sage. It is easy to grow your own in summer, dry it, bundle it and then burn away.

Palo Santo or “Holy Stick” is a natural wood aromatic incense used for centuries by the Incas and indigenous people of the Andes as a spiritual remedy for purifying and cleansing, as well as to get rid of evil spirits and misfortune. as well as for medicinal purposes.

 7.  Crystals_seleniterods_massive

For clearing the air toward tranquility my suggestion is Selenite. Place many wands of this crystal all around your home or quiet space. These gems do not need to be cleansed.

8.  Use Diffuser

Fill it with your choice of essential oils and enjoy how the natural fragrance alters the mood in the room.

9.  Candles

Use one or many to alter the mood of a room and clear stagnating air.

10.  No Synthetic Fragrancesperfume

Yep. Poison. They effect hormone function, reduce sperm count, have been linked to liver and breast cancer, diabetes, obesity, Autism, ADHD, and neurological disorders.

11.  No Cigarette/Cigar Smoke

I do not even know what to say about this. They are clearly poisonous. Just don’t! And if you must, take it outside and protect the air inside your home.

12.  Clear Relationship

This is not always possible, I am aware, but do your best because this discord can effect us negatively deep down to a cellular level. Sometimes when my housemate (who happens to be my husband) is misbehaving I tell him I must clear his aura and then I go all around him clinging my tuning fork against a clear quartz crystal. Ahhhh. Much better.

13.  Tibetan Salt Lamps

Oh so pretty and reduces negative ions. Read here for more information.

14.  Burden BasketBurden Basket

Hang or place a basket of some sore outside your home or just outside your own personal quiet area to remind you of issues you want to leave out side. You can even write these issues down on a square of paper and put it in the basket prior to entering the space.  Let them go. Release your burdens!

15.  No Shoes

This is self explanatory. Take off your shoes before entering your main living area leaving the physical poisons outside and symbolically leaving all the worldly stresses out there as well.

16.  Altar

Buddha in meditation with lotus flower and burning candles

This does not have to be a traditional altar but just a little placemat, table or rug where you can place items that will assist you in gaining peace and clarity some of which have been listed above.

17.  Sound

Add some of these sound options to bring an air of peace to your space:music

  •  Wind Chimes
  •  Tuning Fork- Chime against a Clear Quartz Crystal
  •  Tibetan Singing Bowl
  •  Bells
  • Music-Here’s a sample track of peace inducing music. Certainly some part of it will please you. You can find more on You Tube by searching peaceful music or music for relaxation, etc.

Why not try one or 2 of these ideas and see if they support your goal for experiencing calm? They are not too expensive, are easy to find/do and we all know that you are worth the effort!

Mystical, Magical Himalayan Salt Lamps

Benefits of Himalayan Salt Lamps at Reiki of Greater Boston

Benefits of Himalayan Salt Lamps at Reiki of Greater Boston

I’ve been noticing these mystical lamps for many years. I always knew they were special and I was drawn to them as they seemed to emit a calming quality – kind of like candlelight on steroids. It turns out that my senses were right!

It’s All About The Ions

The combination of salt and a light source in salt lamps cause negative ions. to be emitted.

Negative ions occur more frequently in nature and they are created by things like lightening storms, sunlight, waterfalls, and ocean waves. Feel renewed and refreshed near the ocean or after a storm? This is one of the reasons why.

Once negative ions reach our bloodstream they produce biochemical reactions that increase levels of the good mood chemical, serotonin, helping to alleviate depression, relieve stress, boost energy and improve oxygen intake.

Since stressors to the body  like mold, bacteria, and allergens often carry a positive charge, they can be neutralized by the negative ions from the Salt Lamps.

Lamp Facts

Himalayan Salt Mines, Reiki of Greater Boston

-Mined from 250 million year old salt mines in the Himalayan Mountains.

-Once lit it emits negative ions that naturally refresh the air.

-Glows with a soft, amber light.

-Increases negative ion count.

Lamp Benefits

  • Promotes relaxation
  • Purifies the air
  • Increases negative ions
  • Reduces stress
  • Reduces depression
  • Reduces symptoms of allergies
  • Increases serotonin levels
  • Reduces severity of headaches
  • Improves sleep cycles
  • Increases the flow of oxygen to the brain resulting in alertness and more mental energy.

Try Them!

I finally bought a few for my home and office. I’m not sure yet if the ions are doing their thing on me but I am certain that I enjoy being around them and looking at them and the glow they give off. Why not try them? They’re not expensive. Here are some places you can buy them.

Enjoy!

Walk Softly On The Earth

let-us-walk-softly-on-the-earth-with-all-living-beings-great-and-small-remembering-as-we-go-that-one-god-kind-and-wise-orated-all

Tomorrow, April 22, is Earth Day, the perfect day to think about how we can walk softly on the earth.

Here are some of my favorites:

Recycle   Cloud-1-Earth-Day

Most of us recycle now, 46 years after the initiation of this holiday. It is slow going but it’s progress. I am pretty good about doing this but I could improve. Cans, bottles, plastics, paper, cardboard-done. This year I will recycle more of my personal care product containers. How ’bout you?

Personal/Earth Benefits:

  • Cleaner, more beautiful, sustainable world for you and future generations.

Personal Disadvantages:

  • Use of a few extra minutes/day week to sort/organize/dispose of.

Choose Personal Care Products Wisely

Use organic and all natural. Here are some brands to check out:

Acure, Nude, Suki, One Love Organics, Weleda, Dr. Hauschka

Personal/Earth Benefits:

  • A healthier, cleaner body inside and out for you and your family.
  • Less allergies.
  • Less illnesses.

Personal Disadvantages:

  • A slight pinch in your pocketbook.

Buy/Eat Organic

organic 10 percent

 Personal/Earth Benefits:

  • You and your world will be cleaner and healthier.
  • Organic farming keeps toxic, persistent pesticides out of our environment and bodies.
  • Organic farm fields absorb carbon dioxide.
  • Organic companies conduct business in a sustainable manner aiming at minimizing energy/packaging.

Personal Disadvantages:

  • A slight pinch in your pocketbook.

Garden/Landscaping

Plant Trees!

They don’t have to be huge trees, just plant a small tree or 2 each year and soon you’ll have beauty and health all around you.  Last summer I planted 6 trees total – 4 were over 10 ft. tall so I had to hire someone to plant them and they were expensive but 2 of them were only 3 feet tall which I bought cheaply at Home Depot and planted them myself. They’ve already grown a bit and are making me happy!

Angel Oak. Click on Image to see more beautiful trees!
Angel Oak. Click on Image to see more beautiful trees!

Personal/Earth Benefits:

  • Trees help us breathe clean air by absorbing odors and pollutants .
  • They are beautiful to look at.
  • Some provide food for us. Some provide food for wildlife.
  • Trees help combat climate change.
  • You will feel good caring for and raising the trees.

Personal Disadvantages:

  • Well if you don’t like planting things that’ll be a disadvantage to you. You could always contribute financially to a cause that plants trees and participates in re-forestation, etc.

Compost

You can add compost to soil to improve its physical properties.

Personal/Earth Benefits:

  • Reduces methane emissions.
  • Reduces/eliminates the need for chemical fertilizers.
  • Promotes higher yields of crops.
  • Captures and destroys  industrial volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) in air.
  • Improves soil and water quality.

Personal Disadvantages:

  • It takes a bit of time to learn how to compost.
  • The odor is not always pleasant so don’t put the compost pile too close to the house!

Grow Your Own Food/Buy Locally Grown

You don’t have to have a big space to do this. You can actually grow some veggies in containers! Some flowers are also edible. Once you have a taste of a home-grown tomato you will be spoiled for life and will be unable to choke down those cardboard tasting things they sell in markets. Start with something easy like strawberries or snap peas. Yum!

strawberries

Personal/Earth Benefits:

  • As I said, “Yum!”
  • Buying local supports smaller businesses and reduces toxic emissions from transport.

Personal Disadvantages:

  • I don’t see any.

Don’t Litter/Pick Up Litter

Indian Crying
This is the commercial that first made me aware that people were treating the earth poorly. Click image to watch the original 1971 commercial. “People Start Pollution. People Can Stop It.”

When I go for a leisurely walk, I carry a plastic glove and small bag to clean up the area I walk through.

Personal/Earth Benefits:

  • It’s good exercise!
  • You’ll feel good about contributing.
  • Your children and grandchildren will enjoy a cleaner world.

Personal Disadvantages:

  • I don’t see any.

I do have so much more to say about this topic that is dear to my heart as I’m a Taurus and a total Earth Girl but I’m anxious now to get outside on this gorgeous day to kiss the earth in so many ways. Blessings.
